Fingal Lighthouse is built on one of the most easterly points of Australia

Fingal Lighthouse is built on one of the most easterly points of Australia and was erected in 1872.

This lighthouse may stand only 7m tall, but positioned on top of one of the region’s tallest cliffs, it has an elevation of 24m as well as a commanding view of the coastline and Cook Island. The lighthouse can be reached with a short walk to the headland.

Like a Lighthouse?  Byron Bay lighthouse is only an hour’s drive away. Other beaches are only 45 mins to one hour’s drive away. We have incredibly long stretches of pristine golden sand beaches nearby such as Kingscliff, Fingal Heads, Chinderah, Cabarita, Hastings Point & Pottsville.

Whales and dolphins can frequently be seen swimming just beyond the breakers during the winter months.
